Our name
Mnemosyne is a character of the Greek mythology. Mother of the nine muses, she stands for the importance of memory in the history of mankind and is present even nowadays in our lives, as specific memory-training techniques have been named after her: the mnemonic techniques. Moreover, Mnemosyne is supposed to be the one who gave a name to everything in this world. That way she had a huge contribution not only to the existence of words and the development of languages but also to the understanding between people.
